The forecast for St Albans is quite a bit better than Sydney and along the coastal fringe – but it’s still looking like some rain and showers will be around on Friday and Saturday. Please come prepared for this – you might want extra wet weather gear for out on course. And plan your camping arrangements to accommodate this if staying overnight on Friday.
The past couple of days in St Albans have been great for riding. There have been some slight showers (7mm Tuesday, 1mm Wednesday), but nothing significant. This morning we’ve even been treated to blue sky and sunshine! The course is in great condition and we are expecting some fast times. The parking and camping areas are in good condition for use this weekend.
While we are not expecting it, if the forecast for the tomorrow and race day deteriorates significantly, we will provide another update via email and on our Facebook and Instagram otherwise we look forward to seeing you at St Albans.

We hope all riders are looking forward to the Convict 100 this coming Saturday. We have had a number of questions regarding the weather forecast for this weekend so wanted to give you this update.
The current conditions in St Albans are great for riding, the course is looking fast! So far St Albans is dry (<1mm today) and the camping and parking areas are in tip-top shape.
There is rain predicted later in the week, including on race day. The heaviest falls look to be on the coast, with the forecast improving as you move inland. Based on the current forecasts the event will go ahead as planned. Riders should come prepared for wet weather – the good news will be less dust on the road sections!
We will continue to monitor conditions on the ground and provide another update on Thursday morning.
