It’s a BIG green light for this year’s Convict 100.
It’s been a mammoth effort by the town and surrounds to clean up after floods smashed historic St Albans multiple times over the past six months. We’ve done several recces of the trails and worked closely with locals and National Parks and Wildlife Services and are pumped to confirm that Convict 100 will go ahead on October 15th 2022.
The courses have been changed to avoid the worst hit trails, the new routes will retain the essence of the distinctive Convict 100 that we all know and love. Read the full course descriptions HERE. Come October 15th riders will take on the technical trails, mean climbs, rocky sections, sandstone ridgelines, notorious kayak bridge, and a long untamed single-track section, originally carved into the side of the mountain by Convicts.
The 41km course offers a prime introductory length and style of course for newbies to MTB racing. It’s the flat, fast and friendly younger sibling of the 67km and 97km courses.
