In the 100km event the first three male riders all arrived home in under 4 hours, with the podium belonging to Matt King in 3:51:49 just ahead of Convict legend Jason English (3:51:56) and last year’s winner Mick Sherwoood (3:53:24). In the womens race Sophie Knox was the winner in 5:03:24 ahead of Joan Kuhrmann and Lana Moy.

In the 67km race Scott Reynolds defended his 2024 win, and Georgia Millar had a smashing ride to take out first place among the female riders.

The riders in the 48km course enjoyed the challenge of what was the first mountain bike event for many of them.

We want to thank each and every rider who stopped and offered assistance to the injured riders out on course, and those who waited patiently while we got help to those who needed it. We wish all riders the best for their recovery.
