Need accommodation on race weekend?

The St Joseph’s Guest House is the passion of Steve Kavanagh, your host, who saw the potential of the ruined remains of a Catholic Church built in the 1800’s.

The building has been painstakingly restored and turned into a stunning guest house. The building now comprises four double bedrooms complete with air conditioning and ensuite bathrooms. A fifth bedroom has a separate bathroom. There is an indoor entertainment area for movies a large outdoor deck for the afternoon drinks and barbeque. A quiet upstairs retreat has a unique featured glass floor section to keep an eye on the festivities below.

Overlooking the kayak bridge and in close proximity to St. Albans, it is the perfect accommodation if you don’t fancy slumming it in a tent.

Real Insurance XCM Series – Round 5

The Convict 100 also doubles as the 5th round in the National XCM Series sponsored by Real Insurance. As the last race in the series it is a great opportunity for riders and spectators to see some of the best XCM riders in the country battle it out for the coveted ‘purple jersey’.

Day Rider Insurance

It also provides a great incentive for the punter – as an event overseen by Cycling Australia, all riders (not currently licensed with CA) will receive complimentary day rider insurance as part of their entry. That’s right, enter away knowing you’re fully covered on the day by cycling’s peak body should you meet the dirt in a show-stopping kind of way.
