2020 Event Postponed20th July 2020
It is with great disappointment that we must announce the postponement of the Convict 100 event planned for Saturday, 1st August 2020 in St. Albans. The event is now rescheduled for Saturday, 1st May 2021. An increase in COVID-19 cases in NSW over the past week have led a key event stakeholder to withdraw their support for the event for 2020, meaning we have no alternative but to postpone the event.
We are as passionate about holding planning our events as our supporters are about participating in them, so we do not take this decision to postpone again lightly. It saddens us to not be out there riding alongside you.
No action is required from registered riders at this time. To ease confusion and make the transition to the new date as convenient as possible, all registered riders will automatically will be transferred to the new date. If you have received your race plate via mail, hold onto it as we want to be able to identify (and reward) the 2020 riders hitting the course next year!
Riders who are unable to attend on the rescheduled event day have the following options available. They are eligible for a 100 per cent credit to a future Maximum Adventure event of their choosing. Alternatively our normal refund policy will be in place for the 2021 event, that is, all participants are eligible for a refund minus the $30 admin fee up to two weeks before the new event date.
If you have any further concerns or questions please email [email protected] in the first instance. Please be mindful that our small customer service department will be experiencing higher than normal inquiries at this time. Responses may take three or more business days, so we kindly ask for your patience.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you at the Convict 100 in 2021!
